The soul in the sand

Writer's picture: AK KingAK King

The Year is ending definitely already Christmas, everybody is running around focusing only on what Gifts they gonna put under trees... List of Gifts, Decorations, outfits, Bars, restaurants... and oh I forgot... It's still not snowing, Imagine the traffic here in New York. During my daily Routine on the computer, a Post caught my attention, a facebook Post, I have to be honest people post everything now on facebook a few that I call non-sense, but I can't be against this considerable population this is a way to express feelings, brag, complain, show off etc.

We all have our ways and own opinions. As a Christian, a Photographer or even an Artist according to my taste and perception of life in general, I won't post anything, I assure you. … What was I saying ??? yeah this post caught my attention, and resonate deep inside my soul... " an Undying love "; I don't know much about that facebook friends, but according to my digging, I know she is a woman of God and a Widow. I have to say that a man can recognize wisdom from a distance but more than that, how a love was pure and still living. We all have lost loved ones. I have lost my father in 2012, A ravaging disease took him away from me and I didn't have the chance to be what A Son should be with his father. He died pretty young I'd say but life goes on; He is still in my memory because people who knew us can tell how we look alike. I'm still looking for a picture of him from my country since I can only see him through my mind.

The sooul in the sand ( taken by Tamara Joshua)

This day of the funeral, and the day he asked me to forgive him while dying, this day when he asked some pills to appease his pain because the last diagnostics revealed that there wasn't any chances that he lives longer. I have to say I miss my Father and my biological mother I wish she cared for real about me ( can't explain why...) Tamara Joshua is Facebook contact that brought up these memories to me, with this post to wish happy birthday to her Husband who passed away. " The Soul in the sand " that's how I baptized this capture she took in Turks & Caicos in her moment of reflexion. If you are reading my article Tamara, You are a Good woman and I do respect that. Happiness will find you just stay the way you are !

Thank you for your contribution with the picture ! It means a lot :-)
